Volleyball Recap: Cross Creek Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Cross Creek was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Academy of Richmond County Musketeers. If the Razorbacks were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Musketeers when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The final score came out to 25-10, 25-6.

Academy of Richmond County can attribute much of their success to Berkeley Jones, who had nine assists and four aces. Those nine assists gave Jones a new career-high.

Cross Creek's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Academy of Richmond County, the win (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 14-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cross Creek will head out to take on Butler at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Academy of Richmond County, they will square off against Aquinas at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
