Basketball Game Preview: Paxton Bobcats vs. Florala Wildcats

Paxton and Florala are an even 5-5 against one another since February of 2020, but not for long. The two teams will face off at 7:00 p.m. on Friday without much rest, having both just played. Florala took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Paxton, who comes in off a win.

It was a proper cat-fight when Paxton took on Graceville on Thursday. The Bobcats walked away with a 57-45 victory over the Tigers. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bobcats.

Jacob Lowry had an outrageously good game as he shot 73% from the field on his way to 20 points and five boards. Those 20 points gave him a new career-high. Ryker Stokes was another key player, going 5-for-10 en route to 15 points.

Meanwhile, Florala was just a bucket shy of victory on Thursday and fell 51-50 to Opp.

Paxton came up short against Florala when the teams last played back in January, falling 50-44. Can the Bobcats avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
