Berkeley is 9-1 against Alameda since January of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Yellowjackets will be defending their home pitch for the first time this season when they go up against the Hornets at 6:30 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Berkeley will roll into the matchup after a wild two-game stretch: they didn't score any goals on Saturday, then bounced right back against Hayward on Wednesday. The Yellowjackets were the clear victors by a 5-2 margin over the Farmers.

Meanwhile, Alameda's game on Wednesday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over Bishop O'Dowd.

The win got Berkeley back to even at 2-2. As for Alameda, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-1-1.
