Pocatello had already won 13 in a row dating back to last season (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 19.5 points) and they went ahead and made it 14 on Thursday. They walked away with a 59-52 win over the Hillcrest Knights. The Thunder have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Knights, too.

Pocatello's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Hillcrest, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Coming up, Pocatello will welcome Rigby at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Thunder will need to watch out since the Trojans have now posted at least 55 points in their last three games. As for Hillcrest, they will venture away from home to face off against Skyline at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. This will be the Knights' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
