Basketball Recap: Northside Comes Up Short

Northside was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were beaten by the Washington Eagles 87-35. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1474th, while the Eagles are ranked 199th).

Northside's defeat dropped their record down to 2-14. As for Washington, they pushed their record up to 15-3 with the victory, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season.

Northside will take on Furr at 11:15 a.m. on Saturday. As for Washington, they will challenge Worthing at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
