There's no place like home for Chief Leschi, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They came out on top against the North Beach Hyaks by a score of 44-32 on Thursday. That looming 44-32 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Warriors yet this season.

Despite the defeat, North Beach saw an underclassman step up: sophomore JJ Eastman dropped a double-double on 24 points and 18 boards. Eastman is also on a roll when it comes to blocks, as he's now posted two or more in the last 13 games he's played.

Chief Leschi's win bumped their record up to 3-16. As for North Beach, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 12 of their last 13 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-17 record this season.

Chief Leschi has already played their next contest, a 71-35 loss against Onalaska on the 8th. North Beach does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
