Volleyball Game Preview: Oaks Christian Lions vs. Calabasas Coyotes

Oaks Christian hasn't had much luck against Calabasas recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Lions will be playing at home against the Coyotes at 6:30 p.m. Oaks Christian will be strutting in after a victory while Calabasas will be coming in after a defeat.

Last Wednesday, Oaks Christian was able to grind out a solid win over Agoura, taking the game 3-1.

Oaks Christian had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 14-25, 25-19, 25-21, 25-23.

Meanwhile, Calabasas was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to Newbury Park.

Oaks Christian's victory bumped their record up to 8-16. As for Calabasas, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-18.

Oaks Christian was able to grind out a solid win over Calabasas when the teams last played back in March, winning 3-1. Will the Lions repeat their success, or do the Coyotes have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
