Cyprus lost to Kearns back in January, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Cyprus Pirates secured a 35-31 W over the Kearns Cougars.

Kearns lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Leila Fowler, who posted five points and five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Marie Angilau-Lea, who had eight points and six boards.

Cyprus picked up their first road victory, bumping their record up to 2-19. As for Kearns, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-12 record this season.

Cyprus has already played their next matchup, a 47-42 loss against Granger on the 13th. As for Kearns, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 40-33 defeat against Hunter on the 13th.
