Soccer Recap: Piper Comes Up Short

Piper was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Shawnee Mission North Bison. If Piper were looking for revenge after losing 4-1 to Shawnee Mission North when the teams met back in March of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Piper's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Shawnee Mission North, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Piper has already played their next match, a 1-0 defeat against Louisburg on the 4th. As for Shawnee Mission North, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next game, a 0-0 draw against Sumner Academy on the 4th.
