Basketball Recap: Bangor Falls to Arcadia in First Game of Season

Bangor had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell just short of the Arcadia Raiders by a score of 69-67 on Tuesday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Cardinals of the 67-46 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February.

Despite the defeat, Bangor had strong showings from Hayden Massman, who shot 42% from the field on his way to 23 points and eight boards, and Brody Edwards, who went 7-for-11 en route to 18 points and seven rebounds. Dayne Langrehr was another key player, shooting 45% from the field to rack up 11 points.

Coming up, Bangor will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Cashton at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be the Cardinals' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Arcadia, they are taking a road trip to challenge Altoona at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.
