Lincoln North Star had already won four in a row and they went ahead and made it five on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Lincoln East Spartans. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 last Tuesday.

Lincoln North Star's offense was headlined by Delainey Volkmer and McKenna Powell, who picked up eight kills apiece. They got some help from Alex Kroll and her 18 assists. Marie Paneitz and Kendyll Jackson kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with three aces apiece.

Lincoln North Star's win bumped their record up to 13-1. As for Lincoln East, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last ten matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record this season.

Lincoln North Star has already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Papillion-LaVista on the 20th. As for Lincoln East, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Pius X on the 20th.
