Meanwhile, Macksville also suffered a loss in their last game, falling to St. John by a score of 2-0. The Mustangs have struggled against the Tigers recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.

The final score came out to 25-18, 25-6.

Chase's loss dropped their record down to 0-18-1. As for Macksville, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-14.
