Volleyball Recap: Dos Pueblos Takes a Loss

Dos Pueblos was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Downey Vikings. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Vikings this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-2 on Friday.

Dos Pueblos' defeat dropped their record down to 12-6. As for Downey, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 11-9 record this season.

Dos Pueblos will host San Marcos at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Downey, they have already played their next game, a 3-2 victory against Pleasant Grove on the 5th.
