Lake Travis strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They took their game with ease, bagging a 48-0 victory over the Akins Eagles. The Cavaliers pushed the score to 42-0 by the end of the third, a deficit the Eagles had no chance of recovering from.

Jonathan Godinez had an outrageously good game as he rushed for 123 yards and one score on only 13 carries. Wesley Glass was another key back, rushing for 58 yards and one TD.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Lake Travis was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 274 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in November of 2024.

Lake Travis' record is now 9-0. As for Akins, they dropped their record down to 4-5 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.
