Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Wausau West). They were the clear victors by a 14-4 margin over the Wausau East Lumberjacks on Monday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Warriors considering their two-run performance the contest before.

With the win, Wausau West broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 5-10. As for Wausau East, they dropped their record down to 1-12 with the defeat, which was their 15th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wausau West will take on Marshfield at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Wausau East, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against D.C. Everest at 4:30 p.m. The Evergreens will roll in looking for their 16th straight victory, something the Lumberjacks surely won't give up without a fight.
