Baseball Recap: Blue Eye Comes Up Short

Blue Eye managed to slip by Marionville the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Bulldogs lost 16-5 to the Comets on Thursday. The Bulldogs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Comets apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Blue Eye now has a losing record of 2-3-1. As for Marionville, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Blue Eye will venture away from home to take on Central at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Marionville, they will take on Verona at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
