Soccer Game Preview: Pendleton vs. West-Oak

Pendleton is preparing for their first region matchup of the season on Thursday. They will be playing at home against the West-Oak Warriors at 7:00 p.m. Pendleton's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Pendleton fell victim to Palmetto and their airtight defense last Tuesday. They lost 5-0 to the Mustangs. That's two games in a row now that the Bulldogs have lost by exactly five goals.

Meanwhile, it was close, but on Tuesday West-Oak sidestepped Belton-Honea Path for a 3-2 victory. The Warriors haven't had any issues with the Bears recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

West-Oak's victory bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Pendleton, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-4.
