Basketball Recap: Olympia Takes a Loss

Olympia won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Tuesday. They were outmatched by the Edgewater Eagles and fell 59-15. The Titans have struggled against the Eagles recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

When it comes to explaining why Olympia lost, don't look at Ava Pazos. Despite the final result, she posted nine points along with six assists and five rebounds. Pazos has been hot for a while, having also posted three or more steals the last 18 times she's played.

Olympia's defeat dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Edgewater, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season.

Olympia has already played their next match, a 51-27 loss against Lake Brantley on the 16th. As for Edgewater, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 46-39 win against Winter Park on the 17th.
