Basketball Recap: Butler Comes Up Short

Butler has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 51-47 heartbreaker at the hands of the Tippecanoe Red Devils. The Aviators were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Red Devils earlier this season, when they won 42-36.

Butler's defeat dropped their record down to 16-6. As for Tippecanoe, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 19-3 record this season.

Butler does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Tippecanoe, they will square off against Stebbins at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
