Basketball Recap: Park City Comes Up Short

Park City was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They took a 44-37 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Murray Spartans. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Spartans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 41-38 back in January.

Grace Taeoalii went supernova for Murray, dropping a double-double with 12 points and 17 rebounds. Those 12 points gave Taeoalii a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Charlotte Scherbel, who posted 15 points and six boards.

Park City's defeat dropped their record down to 4-17. As for Murray, their victory bumped their record up to 7-14.

Park City does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Murray, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, an 80-49 loss against Dixie on the 11th.
