Baseball Recap: St. Paul's Winning Streak Snapped at Four Games

It was a good run, but St. Paul unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Tuesday. They came up short against the Blanchet Catholic Cavaliers, falling 15-4. If the Buckaroos were looking for revenge after losing 15-5 to the Cavaliers when the teams met back in May of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

St. Paul's loss dropped their record down to 13-7. As for Blanchet Catholic, their win was their 22nd straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 24-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. Paul will welcome Knappa at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Buckaroos will need to watch out since the Loggers have now posted at least ten runs in their last three matchups. As for Blanchet Catholic, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Marist at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday.
