Dynamic duo of Reece Brown and Owen Schlager lead Trinity to victory

Recap: Trinity Shamrocks vs. East Pennsboro Panthers

There's no place like home for the Trinity Shamrocks, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Wednesday. They came out on top against East Pennsboro by a score of 74-64 on Tuesday. Given Trinity's advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 99th, while East Pennsboro is ranked 308th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Trinity was led to victory by Reece Brown and Owen Schlager. Brown scored 21 points along with five rebounds, while Schlager scored 23 points along with seven assists and five rebounds. Schlager has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last 14 times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Cj Nadzam, who scored eight points.

Trinity's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-3. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.5 points per game. As for East Pennsboro, their loss dropped their record down to 7-7.

Trinity will head out on the road to face off against Camp Hill at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for East Pennsboro, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Susquehanna Township at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
