Brian Crowder, Independence's leader in runs on the season, led the team again on Tuesday. Crowder turned in his biggest game of the season, scoring five runs and stealing Six bases. while getting on base in all five of his plate appearances. He is becoming a predictor of Independence's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is undefeated (and 1-5 when he doesn't).
