Soccer Game Preview: Davis vs. Pleasant Grove

The Davis Darts will venture away from home to challenge the Pleasant Grove Vikings at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Davis is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. Their defense stepped up to hand Desert Hills a 3-0 shutout on Wednesday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

Davis hit Desert Hills with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Braxton Passey, Kyle Livermore, and Hugh Wood.

Meanwhile, Pleasant Grove put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They came within a single goal of losing the streak, but they secured a 1-0 W against Salem Hills. That's two games straight that the Vikings have won by just one goal.

Davis' victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 3-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three contests. As for Pleasant Grove, their win bumped their record up to 5-0.
