Softball Recap: Valley Academy of Arts & Sciences Has No Trouble Against Fulton

Valley Academy of Arts & Sciences won the last time they faced Fulton and things went their way on Thursday too. The Vipers put the hurt on the Jaguars with a sharp 17-6 victory. Considering the Vipers have won seven games by more than eight runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Valley Academy of Arts & Sciences is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 21.2 runs over those games. As for Fulton, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-11.

Coming up, Valley Academy of Arts & Sciences will head out on the road to face off against Sherman Oaks CES at 2:30 p.m. on Monday. The Knights will roll in looking for their 14th straight victory, something the Vipers surely won't give up without a fight. As for Fulton, they will host East Valley at 2:30 p.m. on Monday.
