New London-Spicer came tearing into Thursday's contest with five straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta Tigers. This was a revenge game for the Wildcats: when they faced off against the Tigers back in August, they had to take a 3-2 loss.

New London-Spicer's win bumped their record up to 14-10. As for Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta, the defeat snapped their winning streak at four matches and leaves them with a 13-8-1 record.
