The C.B. Aycock Golden Falcons will challenge the Triton Hawks on Friday. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.

C.B. Aycock is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-3 victory over Currituck County. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Golden Falcons have posted since April 15th.

Beckett Cruse looked comfortable as he tossed 1.2 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been consistent for a while: he hasn't given up more than two hits any time he's pitched this season.

At the plate, Janeson Steele was excellent, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

Meanwhile, it was a Battle of the Birds when Triton faced off against South Central on Tuesday. The Hawks skirted past the Falcons 4-2.
