Soccer Recap: Piper Comes Up Short

Piper and Fort Lauderdale squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Piper had to settle for second. They lost 4-1 to the Flying L's. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Fort Lauderdale this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 7-1 back in December of 2025.

Piper's loss dropped their record down to 9-9-1. As for Fort Lauderdale, the win snapped their losing streak at four matches and leaves them with a 10-6 record.

Piper does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Fort Lauderdale, they will take on Monarch at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Fort Lauderdale are facing Monarch at the right time seeing as Monarch are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
