It was a good run, but Atlantic Shores Christian unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell 2-0 to the Summit Christian Academy Eagles. The Seahawks were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2023.

Sarah Moyer paced Atlantic Shores Christian's offense, picking up five kills. Moyer got some help from Brooke Leonard and her seven assists. Moyer was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Atlantic Shores Christian's loss dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Summit Christian Academy, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-2.

Atlantic Shores Christian has already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Mountain View on the 13th. As for Summit Christian Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Cave Spring on the 13th.
