Volleyball Recap: Indianapolis Cardinal Ritter Takes a Loss

Indianapolis Cardinal Ritter was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 3-1 to the Indianapolis Shortridge Blue Devils. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Blue Devils this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-1 last Saturday.

Indianapolis Cardinal Ritter couldn't get the win, but they sure gave Indianapolis Shortridge a tough time in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-19, 28-30, 25-13.

Indianapolis Cardinal Ritter's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Indianapolis Shortridge, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-2.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Indianapolis Cardinal Ritter will square off against rival Park Tudor at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Indianapolis Shortridge is set to take on their familiar foe Mooresville at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
