Winning always takes teamwork, but on Friday Jamon Jones stepped things up a notch to give Jonesboro the 'W'. Jones went 1-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base. The performance marked the most runs he has had since back in March.

Jones and Jonesboro will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Dutchtown at 6:00 p.m. on the 14th. Jones had to take a loss the last time the two teams duked it out, losing their matchup back in April of 2024 4-1. If he drops another game like that, the outcome could be different this time around.
