Basketball Game Preview: Old Town Coyotes vs. Washington Academy Raiders

The Old Town Coyotes will face off against the Washington Academy Raiders at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Old Town is coming into the match hot, having won their last three games.

On Thursday, Old Town was able to grind out a solid victory over Hermon, taking the game 39-30.

Meanwhile, Washington Academy didn't have too much trouble with Woodland on Wednesday as they won 81-66. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Raiders.

Old Town's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-7. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.4 points per game. As for Washington Academy, their victory ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 5-7.

Old Town was able to grind out a solid win over Washington Academy in their previous meeting back in January of 2024, winning 51-41. The rematch might be a little tougher for Old Town since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
