Trenton got themselves on the board against Chico on Friday, but Chico never followed suit. They blew past the Dragons 20-0. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as the Tigers just coasted through the last quarter.

Trenton got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Colten Carroll out in front who rushed for 126 yards and one score on only eight carries. Carroll's longest rush was for an impressive 55 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total. Nolan Yowell was in the mix too, providing Trenton with two touchdowns.

Trenton has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 0 points this season. As for Chico, they dropped their record down to 1-1 with the loss, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Trenton will venture away from home to challenge Detroit at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Chico, they will challenge Munday at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
