Baseball Recap: South Tahoe Takes a Loss

South Tahoe couldn't beat Lincoln on Monday even though they stacked five runs on them in the fifth inning. The Vikings lost 16-5 to the Fighting Zebras. The Vikings' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

South Tahoe saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cooper Richey, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

South Tahoe's loss dropped their record down to 3-16. As for Lincoln, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-5.

South Tahoe didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 10-7 defeat against Burbank on the 15th. As for Lincoln, they have also already played their next game, a 6-2 victory against Woodland on the 15th.
