Softball Recap: Scranton Prep Takes a Loss

Scranton Prep came into their game on Wednesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 18-3 to the West Scranton Invaders. The Cavaliers have struggled against the Invaders recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost meeting.

Emma Cuck was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run while going 1-for-2. Grace McCormack was another key player, going a perfect 1-for-1 with one double and one RBI.

Scranton Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for West Scranton, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-8.

Looking ahead, Scranton Prep will welcome Wallenpaupack Area at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for West Scranton, they will head out to square off against Scranton at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
