Softball Recap: Concord Christian Comes Up Short

Concord Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 16th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 18-1 to the Grace Christian Academy Rams. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rams this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 17-0 last Monday.

Concord Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Grace Christian Academy, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Concord Christian will welcome King's Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. King's Academy has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 12.29 runs per game on average), something Concord Christian will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Grace Christian Academy, they will be playing at home against Farragut at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
