With a playoff win on the line, Delhi rose to the challenge on Friday. They walked away with a 59-46 win over the Grand Lake Hornets. The victory was familiar territory for the Bears, who have now won six contests in a row.

It was another big night for Dustin D Ykes, who dropped a double-double with 24 points and 13 boards. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in rebounds. Jatavis Hester was another key player, almost dropping a double-double with 14 points and nine boards.

Delhi smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 17 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive rebounds in four consecutive matches.

Delhi's win bumped their record up to 19-13. As for Grand Lake, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 15-18-1 record this season.

Delhi will face off against Arcadia on Tuesday. Delhi has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 194 points over their last three contests. Grand Lake does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
