League recap: Carlton throws longest pass in league this season for Trinity Catholic

Reid Carlton and Jack Reed provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Forest. The longest such play in 3A District 3 this season, the connection resulted in 72 yards.

Trinity Catholic took down the Wildcats 40-7 last week, the largest margin of any game. Carlton threw for 192 yards and three touchdowns and ran for six yards in the win.

Demonta Blunt was the most productive running back in the league this week. He ran for 176 yards on 15 carries as the Celtics lost to Union County. Reed also contributed to the rushing game with 47 yards on the ground.

Andrew Baker provided a threat through the air and on the ground as the Indians lost to the Fightin' Tigers. He completed 17 passes for 248 yards and two touchdowns and also ran for 40 yards. Baker's favorite target this week was Sanders, who caught four passes for 101 yards.

Fort White's Baker and Michael Mulberry have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Baker has thrown for 818 yards this season, while Mulberry, a 5-foot-11 receiver, has 12 catches for 248 yards. Blunt from Trinity Catholic leads the league in rushing with 487 yards.

John Brantley's team led 3A District 3 in scoring this week after putting up 40 points on Forest. Carlton in the win.
