Baseball Game Preview: Roosevelt Rough Riders vs. Lindsay Cardinals

The Roosevelt Rough Riders will take on the Lindsay Cardinals at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Roosevelt is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.

While Roosevelt didn't have the best season last year (they finished 7-17), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They came out on top against Granite Hills by a score of 5-1 on Tuesday.

Brian Roberson was excellent, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, one double, and one RBI. He has been hot recently, having posted two or more stolen bases the last three times he's played. Another player making a difference was Manny Molano, who scored a run and stole Two bases. while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.

Meanwhile, Lindsay beat Farmersville 9-5 on Tuesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Cardinals.

Lindsay now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Roosevelt, their win bumped their record up to 4-0.
