Basketball Recap: Southeastern Comes Up Short

Southeastern lost to Appalachian back in December of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Mustangs were dealt a 58-29 loss at the hands of the Eagles.

Southeastern has also been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 11 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-11 record this season. As for Appalachian, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-8.

Coming up, Southeastern will square off against Coosa Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Appalachian, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Susan Moore at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday.
