Grace Prep waltzed into their match on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Grapevine Faith Christian Lions by a score of 31-24. This was a revenge game for Grace Prep: when they faced off against Grapevine Faith Christian back in December of 2024, they had to take a 53-36 defeat.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Grace Prep to victory, but perhaps none more so than Emerson Minor, who posted 11 points and three steals. Another player making a difference was KJ Brimberry, who had seven points in addition to five rebounds and three steals.

Grace Prep's win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 10-11. As for Grapevine Faith Christian, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-12 record this season.

Grace Prep has already played their next contest, a 54-34 loss against All S on the 4th. As for Grapevine Faith Christian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 39-37 defeat against Fort Worth Christian on the 4th.
