Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Fort Walton Beach). Everything went their way against the Pine Forest Eagles on Friday as Fort Walton Beach made off with a 13-2 win. The victory continues a trend for the Vikings in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now won five in a row.

Luke Henderson and Lavin McDaniel did most of the damage at the plate: Henderson went 1-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run, while McDaniel scored two runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-2. That's the most RBI Henderson has posted since back in February. Another player making a difference was Griffin Cann, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-1.

Fort Walton Beach always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .562. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Fort Walton Beach's win bumped their record up to 7-11. As for Pine Forest, they dropped their record down to 0-18 with the loss, which was their 17th straight on the road dating back to last season.
