Volleyball Recap: Grand Ledge Extends Winning Streak to Four + How To Watch

With a playoff win on the line, Grand Ledge rose to the challenge on Wednesday. They won by a set and slipped past the East Lansing Trojans 3-2. Winning may never get old, but the Comets sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

The win didn't come easy: East Lansing scored at least 11 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 22-25, 25-19, 25-20, 25-27, 15-11.

Naomi Gordon and Stella Dimaggio certainly did their best on Wednesday to avoid the loss. Gordon had ten digs and two aces, while Dimaggio had seven digs and one assist.

Grand Ledge's victory bumped their record up to 21-15-2. As for East Lansing, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 20-17-2.

Looking ahead, Grand Ledge will look to defend their home court on Thursday against DeWitt at 6:00 p.m. East Lansing does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
