Softball Recap: Palmyra-Eagle Takes a Loss

Palmyra-Eagle fell victim to Lake Mills and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the L-Cats, falling 11-0. The Panthers have struggled against the L-Cats recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Palmyra-Eagle's defeat dropped their record down to 3-15. As for Lake Mills, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-13.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Palmyra-Eagle will head out to face off against Randolph at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Panthers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Rockets have averaged an impressive 6.2 runs per game this season. As for Lake Mills, they will head out on the road to challenge Columbus at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
