Volleyball Recap: Charlestown Takes a Loss

Charlestown's tournament run continued when they took on Conner on Saturday. The Pirates took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cougars. The Pirates have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The final score came out to 25-12, 25-13.

Charlestown's defeat dropped their record down to 7-12. As for Conner, the win (which was their 11th in a row) raised their record to 13-4.

Charlestown didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Lawrenceburg on the 20th. As for Conner, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Shelbyville on the 20th.
