Soccer Game Preview: North Duplin vs. East Columbus

The North Duplin Rebels are taking a road trip to challenge the East Columbus Gators at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

North Duplin is looking to tack another W on to their season record, something they couldn't quite do against Lakewood on Tuesday. The two teams finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw.

Meanwhile, East Columbus entered their match against Hobbton on Wednesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Gators came up short against the Wildcats, falling 10-2.

East Columbus now has a losing record of 4-5. North Duplin's draw gives them a new season record of 2-4-1.

North Duplin skirted past East Columbus 4-3 in their previous matchup back in September. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Rebels since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
