Baseball Recap: Bradley-Bourbonnais Starts Season with Loss on the Road

Bradley-Bourbonnais kicked off their season on the road on Tuesday and hit a couple of potholes. They came up short against the Morris Redskins, falling 12-1. The loss continues a trend for the Boilermakers in their meetings with the Redskins: they've now lost five in a row.

Bradley-Bourbonnais saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Eric Rainbolt, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one double.

Morris' win was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-0.

Looking ahead, Bradley-Bourbonnais will take on Hayden at 9:00 a.m. on Monday. As for Morris, they will face off against O'Fallon at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
