Basketball Recap: Hardee Takes Loss Despite Strong Performances from Teagan Vansickle and Victor Rodriguez

Hardee was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 52-36 bruising from the Lake Placid Dragons. The Wildcats were not able to make up for their defeat to the Dragons from their previous meeting back in January.

Hardee's loss came despite strong showings from Victor Rodriguez and Teagan VanSickle. Rodriguez posted ten points, while VanSickle put up nine points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jimmy Ruiz, who had five points.

Hardee's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Lake Placid, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Hardee wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 51-10 win against Champions Christian Academy on the 9th. As for Lake Placid, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 69-29 victory against Oasis Christian on the 6th.
