Baseball Recap: Crandon's Win on Wednesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Crandon won against Amherst on Tuesday with five runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Wednesday. The Cardinals beat the Falcons by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 5-4. The win was familiar territory for the Cardinals, who have now won three games in a row.

Crandon pushed their record up to 10-5 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.7 runs on average over those games. As for Amherst, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 18-12 record this season.
