After flying high against Beallsville on Monday, Belpre came back down to earth. The Golden Eagles came up short against the Waterford Wildcats on Tuesday, falling 13-1. The Golden Eagles' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Belpre saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Adrik Mclaughlin, who went 2-for-3 with one double.

Belpre's defeat dropped their record down to 7-12. As for Waterford, their win bumped their record up to 14-10.

Belpre didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 6-5 loss against Frontier on the 14th. Waterford does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
